Welcome to The Fold Standard!

We're committed to making laundry day easy, reliable, and completely stress-free. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Our Services

We provide convenient mobile laundry pickup and delivery in the Knoxville, TN area. Our services include washing, drying, folding, and hanging (upon request).

Pricing & Minimums

  • Wash, Dry & Fold: $2.25 per pound

  • Minimum Order: $40 per pickup

Final pricing is determined by the actual weight of your laundry after pickup. We’re happy to weigh it upon arrival if you’d like an estimate beforehand—just let us know.

Pickup & Delivery

  • Please bag your laundry and have it ready at the scheduled pickup time.

  • You do not need to be home. Simply leave it outside in a safe, visible spot.

  • We’ll return your clean laundry in clear, neatly organized bags within 24–48 hours.

Hang Dry / Hanger Requests

If you’d like items returned on hangers:

  • Place them in a separate bag.

  • Include your own hangers.

  • Clearly label the bag “Hang Dry”.

If hangers are not provided, those items will be folded.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please notify us at least 2 hours before your scheduled pickup to cancel or reschedule. Missed pickups may incur a small travel fee.

Laundry Care & Liability

We treat your laundry with the same care as our own. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by improper care labels or manufacturer defects

  • Items left in pockets (pens, makeup, gum, etc.)

  • Delicate, dry-clean-only, or specialty items not properly separated and labeled

Please label or separate any special-care items in advance.

Payments

  • You will not be charged when booking.

  • We weigh your laundry and send an invoice after processing.

  • Payment is due before or at delivery.

  • We accept credit/debit cards via online invoice or manual payment.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service for:

  • Unsanitary or unsafe laundry (e.g., excessive pet waste or infestations)

  • Items outside our service scope (e.g., rugs, comforters, or dry-clean-only garments)
